Forest Honey is collected from the natural forests across India. The honeycombs are built on rock cliffs or the branches of tall trees. Most wild honey combs are built by Apis dorsata, (the giant honey bee of South and Southeast Asia found in the forests) on rock cliffs.
These bees are large and aggressive and are hard to be reared. They go into the forest and collect nectar from a variety of wild species of trees, shrubs, herbs, and climbers. The wild bees give medicinal value to the forest honey making it pure, natural, and organic.
